Questions
How does it work?
We look for the chemical symbols hidden in a name. Laura becomes La (Lanthanum), U (Uranium) and Ra (Radium). Each element carries a meaning, and together they form an archetype: a short portrait of who that person is.
What if a name can’t be fully spelled in elements?
Most names can. Where a letter has no element, it appears as a soft grey letter we call an echo, so the name is always complete. Some names can be spelled more than one way, and you can choose your favourite in the studio.
Where do the meanings come from?
Each meaning is inspired by the real nature of the element: Gold endures, Neon glows, Carbon is the backbone of life. They are written to be symbolic, warm and uplifting, never scientific claims.
How do couple and family prints work?
Each name is spelled in elements. Then every atomic number is added together and folded back into the periodic table, revealing the single element your names make together, along with its meaning.
Can I see my print before I order?
Yes. The studio draws your exact print live as you type, so what you see is what we make.
How long does delivery take?
Digital downloads arrive by email after we check your print, usually within a day. Cards and prints are made to order and posted within a few working days, with free UK delivery.
